Hand Luggage Only was born in a University dorm room as a sort of cathartic project between two like minded travelers with a great sense of curiosity and friendship. Hand Luggage Only intent is to share mindful stories, photos and advice on the unabated desire to travel the world and its wonders. The bloggers have a passion for finding quirky new places and delicious food, especially offering a great insight on desert-y foods alike–gelato especially. Every destination is different and these differences should be written about and embraced. Doing crazy activities like paragliding from France into Switzerland and losing over 8 pounds in 5 days at a body camp in Ibiza. The pair offer intricate advice on photography and blogging, and keep a concise travel journal that’s more of a diary of their travels rather than a blog. The two would select cities of interest from all over the world and explore their ‘touristy’ and off the beaten path sides. Often writing articles to invoke travel inspiration, through the common use of their great photography skills and their in depth writing styles for example seen in articles like ‘11 of the very best road trips in Great Britain’ and ‘15 of the best beaches in California you have to visit’. Utilizing the same pattern with photography and the inspiration behind it, Hand Luggage Only aspires to inspire as much as they could. With the many difficulties associated with traveling, the pair has encountered them all, writing about the life hacks they have accumulated along the way–for travel is not easy and they understand that well enough. The two often write about personal experiences associated with travel and their insights regarding every eye opening experience they experience that can really make the reader think and step in their shoes. Besides all of this, the pair also enjoys filming vlogs.
