The Blonde Abroad

The Blonde Abroad

With 50+ countries already scratched off her bucket list, Kiersten, the Blonde Abroad California native, strives to have the biggest of adventures. She works to inspire her many readers to live a life they love and “settle for nothing less of extraordinary.” That is the best way to explain her blog. The Blonde Abroad was created to cease the notion of living life with limitations and adventure without borders instead.

The blog acts as a guide for those who are curious and ambitious. As a solo traveler, Kiersten took many daring moves during her travels, which allowed her to meet many great people along the way and have  many incredible experiences in destinations like Jordan, Thailand, and Bolivia. She hopes that her stories inspire many others to travel independently as well.

Appealing to the millennial crowd in the traveling world, she compiled a list of the top 20 things to do for people in their 20s, which includes traveling to watch the World Cup, seeing the burning man, and attending Mardi Gras in New Orleans, LA. The blog also features a wide array of activities one may do in all parts of the world, including sailing across bays, cycling on the death road in Bolivia, and road tripping across California.

Kiersten also has a passion for fun festivals and often writes blog posts about her wildly enjoyable experiences at festivals across the world and guides on how to survive them like a pro. On that note, she also  writes posts that include travel tips for the many different types of travelers out there, including couples, solo travelers, budget travelers, and even luxury traveler.

Lastly, Kiersten is a big foodie and loves finding a healthy diet everywhere she travels to complement her already very physical and action filled lifestyle.

Destination inspiration is her thing, but action and adventure is her life.
