What is Pruvo?

Pruvo is a free online service that helps people and businesses save money on their existing hotel reservations. Pruvo searches the web and tries to find a lower price for the same room you booked, with the same meal plan and amenities as the original reservation.

How was Pruvo started?

We booked a hotel room and a few days later, we wanted to upgrade our room. After entering the booking site, we noticed that the price of the exact same room we already booked was 35% lower than the price we paid. We had a free cancellation policy for the hotel room, so we decided to rebook the same room with the lower price and then canceled the original reservation.

How to use Pruvo?

Forward the booking confirmation email you've received to save@pruvo.com (make sure it´s a reservation with a free cancellation policy). You can also install our chrome extension or log in with your Google account to have the reservations automatically forwarded to us. From the moment we will process your booking, we will monitor its price until the free cancellation deadline. If we will find a lower price, we will notify you.

Do I have to Log in with my Google account?

Not at all, it's only a recommendation. Logging in in with your Google account will save you the effort of forwarding every one of your booking confirmations. Once you receive a confirmation it will be forwarded to us automatically. Our system retrieves emails that are recognized as booking confirmations, we can't view the rest of your emails. You can turn off this feature any time on your profile settings. If you prefer, you can register to our service without associating to your Google account.

What if I don't want to forward my booking confirmation?

You can enter your booking details manually on this link (while logged in to your account).

What happens once Pruvo finds a lower price?

Once Pruvo finds you a lower price, you'll get an email from Pruvo. Click on it and you will be redirected to Pruvo's rebooking wizard where you can book the exact same hotel room (or upgraded) at a lower price and then cancel your original more expensive booking.

What taxes will be included in your offers?

The taxes breakdown may vary among different destinations, hotels and even among different providers. Therefore, it is important to check what taxes are included in every offer separately. Don't hesitate to contact us for assistance at info@pruvo.com

What happens if I don't want to change my reservation?

Nothing. We will keep monitoring your reservation until the free cancellation deadline, hoping to find another price drop. Pruvo does not modify or cancel your reservation. You are the only one that makes changes to it with our rebooking wizard's assistance.

What happens if there is no price drop?

Nothing happens. Not all bookings have price drops as it depends on a lot of different factors.

How much does it cost?

Pruvo is 100% FREE.

So what's the catch?

Pruvo is an official partner of all major providers. As an official affiliate, Pruvo earns a commission from these websites. We are not charging any commission from our users, which makes Pruvo 100% FREE of charge.

I made a reservation via Pruvo and I see a charge of $2, what is it?

This transaction is not an actual charge but a credit card validation which will disappear automatically within a few days.

How secure would my details be if I forwarded them to you for price monitoring?

We pass security checks by one of the 3 companies approved by Google, and we are GDPR compliant.

How can I delete my account and erase my data?

To delete your account and delete your entire data, please go to the settings page and click on the delete account button
